2024/2025 Changes
In 2024, as an extension of 4Culture’s flagship grant program due to new Doors Open funding, Sustained Support will provide unrestricted funding to meet the day-to-day needs of arts, preservation, heritage, and science and technology organizations. Apply to the program that best fits your organization.

More About Doors Open
On December 5, 2023, the King County Council unanimously passed Doors Open legislation to increase funding to the County’s arts, heritage, science, and historic preservation non-profit organizations through a 0.1 percent sales tax. 4Culture is the County’s designated agency to distribute these funds, anticipated to be approximately $100 million per year.
4Culture will integrate Doors Open funding into our existing equitable granting processes and operations.
Arts Sustained Support

Arts organizations and Local Arts Agencies can put these funds to work providing services to King County residents.
